is it just me or are HSBC about 15 years behind most other banks? unable to open a joint account online and must call in. I honestly can't remember the last time i had to open an account in person or over the phone since joining HSBC.

I thought if the merchant refunds back to the original payment card they don't incur the merchant fees from the bank? If so, i don't really think it is reasonable.

unfortunately, VFF can only book 330 days out so you would need to wait. However, you can transfer VFF points to KF at a rate of 1.55:1 through the velocity website. I think to would be about $558 factoring in 20% bonus points to get 31000 VFF points which transfers to 20000 KF points...

When did they remove the email monitoring? I've got all my trips booked earlier this year which could have only come from the monitoring. will have to remember to forward future bookings.

i'm in similar boat, was rejected earlier in the year. When speaking with a customer service rep they implied it may have been due to churning. They specifically asked if i had opened and closed a lot of credit cards in a short space of time. i had closed 1 in the prior 3 months but had slowed...

if i recall correctly you only earn reward points on gift cards when there is a promotion like a 20x rewards points on Apple gift cards etc.

you earn points when you purchase the Special Gift card,

I buy the Woolworths card, add to mobile wallet. I then go into Woolworths and purchase a Wish Gift card for the full value. Tap and pay and done. been doing it for every special gift card promotion across my credit cards which is almost monthly.

i do the same, can also purchase gift cards with it, i usually swap it for a Wish gift card so i can use for petrol as well.
