Book it, then see if it can be upgraded. If not, call up and cancel it. You have 24 hours to change your mind/cancel bookings with no fees. :)

So after flying today I thought I'd report back. There is no ability for any lounge to store luggage, instead, there is a luggage storage facility run by SmartCarte next to Carousel 5 in arrivals. Worked well, was around $10 for a bag for 8 hours.

It took around 6 weeks for my initial set to post. After that though, any flights I've taken have been within a week. I think the initial delay was due to the fact that the registration bit didn't work properly for members and they had to manually do it.
