No No different to arrival international at SYD then onward to domestic transfer. Need to clear immigration pick up bags re check and transfer terminals. Bigger pain!

Is this another example of how rubbish QF is in not showing the paying the paying pax before paying and booking the category of ticket they are buying ..even for the sake of records and double taking before pressing "buy". Very disappointing.

Also never seen shopping at SIN as good value. Seen same electronic goods on sale onUK high streets cheaper never mind Amazon.. these days of SIN being of good shopping value at airport and in the city are long gone I think.

Maybe away from most pax I agree...but they did say luxurious....so on that basis....however I do still struggle with Sydney on that list. Tbf most "luxurious" hotels are also outside the remit of many people. Also if they include Rex domestic..is that not also just what the Virgin lounge is?

Does it matter? The speed limit are so so so low in Aussie and road discipline on the roads the worst i observed and encountered you are luck if you ever get to 120km an hour. Awful place to drive!! No ping in having a big engine!

I once got Holiday Inn in centre of Warsaw for 5000 points. Bargain. I think IHG are being somewhat negative thinking with this decision. There is plenty of competition (often Accor secures my business) and if IHG are being negative I'll just take my point collection and pop them into airline FF...
