“Into the Nights” promotion, starting on 4 Sept

I am quite new to IHG/PC and would like feedback on what people here think about the following offer.

I don't understand the first box. Does it mean that once I complete all 7 offers, I will automatically get an additional 44k points? Is 88k points better than 2 free nights? Will I get the points associated with the task even if I don't complete all 7 offers? For example if I stay at 2 IC hotels, will I get 16k points even if I don't complete the other tasks?

Not all 'offers' are the same.
Yours seems quite generous. Wish I had THAT offer.
Mine was about half those rates.

If you complete each of the hurdles you will earn the points associated with those hurdles up to 44,100 points.

If you complete all hurdles then you have a choice of 2 free nights or 44,000 points. In that type of situation I would choose the 44,000 points.

Just as an example for mine the 5/6 hurdles to complete would earn 2 free nights or 24,000 points. I think the 2 free nights are better but not if availability is going to be stupidly restricted.

OK; so I got an email yesterday to say I have completed 6 of 7 and earned my rewards. In my case two free nights or 17,000 points. I know it is a risk but I chose the free nights as 17,000 points is not worth a great deal to me. Interestingly, "your choice is final" and there is no going back.

At first, I could not click on either option. Today I could but once the choice was made there is no way to claim the free nights AFAICS. It seems to me that the IT branch are struggling to keep up!

I also received 6 bonus offers: only 2 of which directly earn points, but complete all 6 and get another 20,000 points.

Will give the IT branch a day or two and then chase up how to claim.

I was about to follow up on how to claim when I noticed that an extra icon had appeared.

After logging in and going to "My offer status", there is an extra box alongside the "My Offer Status", labelled "Free Night Status". Clicking on that brings up a page which includes the following message:

You can use your Free Nights individually or all at once. The number of nights and rooms you book cannot exceed the number of free nights you have earned.

After booking your Free Nights, you can add additional nights by booking a paid reservation.

When I enter the city and dates it goes to a special booking page. Availability seems quite good; did a dummy for IC's in SIN, BKK, PRG, VIE. All there & currently available for next May/June when I wish to book.

Booked two nights at the IC Singapore for May next year. Happy with that.

Working OK for me, they tend to do the sweeps around this time each week though, so that may be the issue.

I can actually sign in now! Can't find a way to use my 2 free nights and it tells me i earned 2 free nights 4 times instead of just the 1. Although i managed to finish 19 offers. Does this mean i get 6 free nights?

I am now seeing a refreshed board as well but 'duplicating' bonus offers in the Unlock section.

You can see each entry is duplicating... and some at 0 (which is a low incentive ;-)

I completed this promotion with a stay at Surfers Paradise Crowne Plaza last Saturday night. Should give me 2 free nights and another 34,600 points.

Now to set my sights higher.

Luckily I received an email reminder last week to choose between 2 nights or 24,000 points. If no choice by 28 February then they would automatically credit the points.

Took the 2 free nights.
