I do to (actually swmbo misses them). Anyway we just used helloworld to book a cheap fare for a family member MAN-PER-MAN for late this year.

Best Flights was part of my daily ritual - open the site - click any continent - click J and F tab - voila there was almost a complete list of ALL carriers flying that route with their current / latest pricing including up to the minute 'NEW' offers - SENSATIONAL.

As I posted earlier in this thread - YES I did book through them on a number of occasions - NO I never had a problem - but as always YMMV.

Will we ever see another site so extensive and user friendly? Probably not. Jeez I miss Best Flights!

I never had a problem with Best flights in the 8 years I dealt with them, HOWEVER my experience with Helloworld is appalling to say the least. I use the Swiss RTW business fare 4 times a year for work trips and the Helloworld consultants tell me they have no access to such a fare. Strange !! Anyway any suggestions would be much appreciated

There is some issue with the current LX RTW fares. Not sure of the details but they are temporarily unavailable or something.

LX fare is still available, but just had some recent updates (like no longer being able to use QF trans Pacific).

Bestflights was owned by Jetset Travelworld, which recently consolidated all its brands under the name Helloworld (Harvey World, Travelscene, Jetset etc).

I would have thought they could have kept it running, or re-badged the software, but it appears neither of those options were appealing!

Looks like Helloworld is advertising Economy specials with various airlines, but not Business or First.

Since the demise of the fabulously useful Best Flights for initial searches flights / schedules / pricing I have been using Google Flight Search - basic to start with but it has been improving - more here as reported by AusBT - Google Flights search engine just got more useful - Australian Business Traveller

A good travel agent will save you wandering through all those websites. The search engines are fine so long as all you want is A to B. Once you want A to B to C to D then an
experienced agent, and I'm not talking about the sweet 19yo sitting in the local Fright Centre, will almost always be able to beat the search engines because the search engines can only look for one fare that covers your routing and cannot put together a combination of fares to reduce the price. I've been constructing fares for nearly 40 years and I laugh at some of the options the search engines come up with.

Ah huh - yes that is my my favourite web site - but sometimes you have to position pre / post R / F / J Saver rdpts.
