Looks like you were right. The posting count on here has slowed to somewhat of a crawl.

That's because NM's quiet and JohnK and I are both away.

Me too. Speaking of which I have posted a bit more of my trip report. Still a wee bit behind (not time for FT or AFF lately).

Not sure how you have time for anything :!:

Must write his reports on the plane. I'd do the same but the person in fromt keeps reclining into me. :)

17,000 tomorrow maybe.

Pity Christmas got in the way of the posting rate :!:
That is only 51 to go, make that 50 to go now.

If we all tried hard with some friendly banter in our own special OffT/OnT thread we may get there sooner.

BTW that is 800 for me. Wow.

And I've just passed my 500. :) How'd you get 300 ahead of me anyway?

I was more vocal in the reclining lounge chairs thread.

Some would say you just had a bigger hole to dig yourself out of :)

You sir, are entitled to your opinion and you can do what you wish with your recliner.

I am tired, how much more digging do I have to do to get out of the hole. :P

I was a little surprised by the depth of feeling on the subject. I wonder if QF is aware of peoples feelings on this. Looks as though some people view it as an invasion of their personal space.

I have seen many peoples reactions on planes when someone reclines into their lap. I have also heard many a time during the meal service of FA's constantly telling people to revert their seats back to upright position. Just the other day there was severe turbulence over Indonesia and the meal service was interrupted for ~30-45 minutes and people still did not comprehend the announcement to revert their seats to the upright position. Arrogance, ignorance, I don't know.

I know I have been vocal but also try to be a considerate person. I hate it when someone tries to force their seat back at the first opportunity without looking behind. I will play my little game with them until I get tired of it. And as mentioned previously I have managed to return the seat in front to a partially reclined position by pushing my knees against it.

On the other hand if the person in front turns around and says to me "I am really tired, I would like some sleep and I can't sleep in the upright position" then I would gladly encourage them to recline their seat. But don't recline your seat in my face just because you can, or to watch a movie or to play games.

Very touchy subject. And I think the more you fly the more you understand how a fully reclined seat can affect the person seated behind. I hope frequent flyers and not-so frequent flyers reading that thread think twice about their actions.

Nope. If I have laptop will only take it out on plane for work, nothing else. I usually write up reports in the lounges but this trip have had a lot more tight transits than usual without time to do anything more than run from a/c to a/c.

Will update the trip report some more over the next few days.
