I was going to write about how much I love making toast...
We hope you've been enjoying the program. We're always striving to give our members better value with more partners, better benefits and new innovations. And there's a lot more to come.
yes you are right - looked at the emails again (now have all 4) and it is points balance as of 29 May - I admit I barely read these things before hitting the delete button....There was a report that the email was dated 29 May it simply refers to your point balance as at 29 May
Or has the website made an error again?
Well I am not entering, nor passing on the other 3 emails to the relevant members, so that is 4 out of 10,000,000 gone.I go the email this afternoon.
And would love to win, so no more entries everyone!
The prize is for 9 off prizes of 1 million miles which makes it 9 million not 10 million. Nit picking I know but given we give QF a hard time when they get it wrong we should correct our errors.
Actually, it is of news! If you go back to the news article referenced in one of the first posts, it is that news article that says 10 million.yeah well... maybe some nit picking is due.... but not of AFF... of QFF.

Finally received the email and would like to correct a couple of things.

if you have 10 million reasons to celebrate 10 million members, you would think the prize for the 10 million member milestone would be...?
uh huh... 10 million miles.
but no, for some reason we have 9 chances, not 10.
So who do we believe QF or News?
Seems no one is proof reading these days perhaps QF marketing sent wrong figures to News or News screwed it of perhaps QF website is wrong, and we all know it couldn't possibly be the later. ROFLMAO
Thanks to Qantas Frequent Flyer, there are one million points up for grabs in each state – enough to take you and your family on the trip of a lifetime.
Now they also talk of 1 million in each state. Errrrrrrr How many states do we have 1) QLD 2) NSW 3) Victoria, 4) Western Australia 5) Tasmania 6) South Australia Oh yes and 2 Territories 1) Australian Capital Territory 2) Northern Territory.
Now when I went to school 6 + 2 = 8 Not 9 and not 10

So it would increase the odds of winning perhaps by hearing about it via Option 6, rather than any of the other options!
11. The maximum notional value of each Prize is AU$22,844.50 with a total prize pool of $205,600.50 as at 5 May 2014 based on a sample of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Awards that could be obtained by redeeming through the Qantas Frequent Flyer program (as full defined in the terms and conditions of the program available at qantas.com. For example, a Sydney to London one way Classic Award flight would be 64,000 Qantas Points (subject to Award flight availability) plus applicable taxes, fees and carrier charges, respectively. Therefore you could redeem for 15 of these Award flights with the Prize. As at 5 May 2014 the dollar fare for the equivalent commercial one way Economy flight would be AU$1,517 - therefore 15 of these flights would have a commercial value of $22,755. Plus, if the winner is not currently a member of Qantas Frequent Flyer they will join for free - the value of the membership is $89.50.
Yes. It doesn't say in the T&Cs that the state must be your home state, merely where you heard about the competition. If you heard about it here and went straight to the web site, you apparently cannot make a selection.
This is interesting:
.. a bit over 2 cents/point.
Another interesting stat would be how much in fees and charges it would cost to redeem this prize!!!
