I think we can kiss this one goodbye. Probably too many of us taking advantage of it so they went a different direction with the mall bonus points and all that stuff.

In 2012 the offer only ran from 12-27 December, so I guess there's still hope :)

Good point. I forgot about that.

Well I've saved up so.. hope you're right :)

(though sadly my experience with QF vouchers over the past few months has been quite dire. I don't think I've had one go through as expected properly (out of 5 or 6) resulting in a call to QF. It was much better last year. Maybe it's just me!

I've not paid any CC fees on ex-NZ fares ?

I just checked that booking (made back in April) and actually can't see any CC charge on the eTicket so it looks like I have done the whole year without paying QF a cent in Credit Card surcharges. The confusion is caused by me trying to remember too many flights taken and upcoming bookings

But I am still annoyed that QF vouchers can only be used for travel in or originating from Australia. On the rare occasion that I need to book one way Int to Australia there is no way to access the value held on the voucher.

Granted, the value is in AUD but QF do know a thing or two about currency conversion and they have had 95 years of practice in taking money in foreign currencies.

All that aside, if the 10 point per dollar offer comes up again I will definitely be stocking up

Well if they don't run this voucher offer in 2015, then I'll be in for the triple points offer that opened this morning...
