Re: 10 years on AFF

There are around 300 or so that have hit the ten year mark, of which 70 or so are 11 and fifty celebrating 12 years, if you look at the top users count.

Re: 10 years on AFF

12 years for me and counting. Think I was the second to sign up to this version of AFF. The person ahead of me is active but doesn't post much ;)

Congratulations Anna. Trust the dinner went well

Re: 10 years on AFF

Wasn't there a thread recently which showed prolific posters? Not that this is a great measure of course.

Re: 10 years on AFF

There is prolific or prolific and valuable/informative posts. A search can be done to see those that posted in 2002, surprising to see me up the top with 36 (for 6 months). Gee, my posting has grown since then ;)

use "Quick Links" then "Top Posters of the Month/Year". Search for all months, 2002 (or whichever year you want). Interesting stats and some names that flood the memories. Sad to see some no longer posting

I think the criteria for post count is interesting as it ignores playground but not other threads that don't seem to be interesting or are short lived.

Trouble is I have too much fun in the playground sub forum.

There are a few missing people. Probably Simongr as we used to have robust Apple discussions. And boss reggie for an insight into a land of high flying experiences.

Re: 10 years on AFF

Only 126 posts / year :)

I prefer quality to quantity :)

Great dinner last night organised by Buzz and Mrs B as a precursor to the wine tour. Nice to be able to celebrate 10 years as part of the event. Thanks Buzz for organising (again!) :)

It was simongr's epic HLO world trip report that got me hooked on AFF in the first place!

Well done all. I must be a 10 year guy by now. Always good to learn and contribute where we can.

Some may have to logout to see the top posters.

Re: 10 years on AFF

I remember congratulating QF WP on his 300th post a little while back (when he was known otherwise of course).

Re: 10 years on AFF

Best to you , Anna. And may the quality posts continue for many years.

As to me, I have a few months to go... And my monthly post count says I should be willing to be more demonstrative with my cynical thoughts.

Happy wandering

Fred

Profile on app says I'm a 10 year veteran.... Cough cough established member... Just like to acknowledge what a fantastic job the administrators have done over the years..... Thank you all for the assistance given to make my travels cheaper and more enjoyable.

Re: 10 years on AFF

Yes, I'm also a 10 year veteran, having just slid over in late December. Wow, time goes quickly.

Re: 10 years on AFF

Do you get long service leave for being 10 years on AFF? :)
