Congrats Anna! I think AFF is the only forum I have stayed on for the long haul (excuse the pun) 5 1/2 years so far, unlike other forums out there, like uh-hm 'whirlpool' which has gone to the dogs with trolls, 15 y/o keyboard warriors and the like over the years.
The people on here, the experiences shared, the social events and the help/tips given here are second to none and as long as it stays like this I'll be here for a long time.

10 Years on AFF....

Anniversary was 2 days ago.

I has been a fun ride and I have learned a lot in that time and hopefully given something back. I have met many great people in that time and have made many friends. Looking forward to the KUL-SIN lounge crawl in June.

I still remember what I was trying to achieve when I first joined AFF. It was to find the longest possible to get from Sydney to Bangkok without spending too much more to maximise the SCs earn to maintain Silver and I was looking at doing SYD-BNE-SIN-BKK at the time.

Who would have thought. Looking forward to next 10 years.

And it should also be noted that JohnK has organised many competitions relating to number of posts and also advises us when our fellow AFFers meet specific post count thresholds.

Both of which contribute to the general collegiality here on AFF.

I know sometimes there are disagreement on opinions from time to time , but we're still here to argue our point another day and maybe 10 years and more
