This cashback deal is now live. However, it seems to be very light on details at CR.

The picture in the post above outlines Book By and Travel Between dates, but are these exclusive for the Etihad Cashrewards promo? Or are they dates for the current sale prices with no relevance on the Cashrewards promo? The CR link takes you to Etihad Australia, but there are no terms or exclusions that state that your booking must commence and return to Australia, let alone be in Australian dollars.

I don't believe this was intentional since most promos are geographically targetted, but I can only assume it's open for any route and for any dates. Some of the SE Asia fares to Europe look all the more tempting with this cashback. I recommend taking screenshots throughout the booking process.

Yes, I saw that, but I'm unconvinced that I'd be any better off booking EY via this route. A bit like QR's usual bait and switch?
