It has me thinking about booking and paying in Euro to get access to European cashback sites....

Shoop.de for example has:-
  • 15% cashback** for your valid booking at Sofitel, Pullman, MGallery, Grand Mercure, The Sebel, Mövenpick, Sofitel Legend, SO, Adagio Premium, Rixos, SO Sofitel
And reduces from there based on Brand...
  • 12% cashback** for your valid booking with Novotel, Mercure, Adagio, Mama Shelter, Mantis, Tribe, Handwritten
  • 7.5% cashback** for your valid booking with Adagio Access, Ibis, Ibis Styles, Ibis StylesBis, Greet
  • 3% cashback** for your valid booking at Fairmont, Swissotel, Hotel F1, Ibis Budget, JO&JOE, Raffles, Hyde, Mondrian, SLS, 21CMuseumHotels
This seems the right way to do it to me - those hyper inflated 'luxury' brands pay more....

It appears the definition of Luxury has been updated to include Sofitel and MGallery - that's a real shame. It used to be Raffles, Fairmont and Swissotel only.
That's a very new change! It was those 3 only when I was looking a few days ago!

Another change now. Raffles Fairmont and Swissotel earn nothing at CR but Sofitel and MGallery are back to full earn rate.
