Final numbers will need to be in by the week before, except for the gooney bird flight over the City which will be first in first served, with no J upgrades available LOL.

A gooey bird could be messy.

Anyway it would be great if there was a specific time, location etc detailed so we can book flights etc.

Will you be coordinating the flight bookings? Or do we need to do them ourselves?

IPADs don't like gooneys, LOL. I have modified the first post with timings now shown, for the flight I will organize the bookings once I have settled on an operator!

Definately am interested. Would love to do this!

Especially the C-47 flight!!!

Count me in for every thing up until 5 pm. Will miss the Goonybird flight and head home after the MEL tour.

Posted on a wing & a prayer

I've just booked a PER-MEL-PER JASA so I'm committed.

As I'll be getting back about a week before this from being out of communication in the Kimberley from mid-April, I'd like to try and lock in my confirmation payments just as soon as you are ready, thanks markis10.

Sounds like a great day has been organised but I am sorry won't be able to attend.

I have booked on Deathstar to MEL early morning Sat and HOTP sat night ( HSW was asking fantasy figures :( )
Will likely fly back Sun on a DJ Flexi as could use the SC ;)

Phooey, please accept by apologies, ill be in SJU for the day....
Have a great time everyone!

C-47 is even better than a DC3 :)

I 99% will confirm tonight after I book flights and a hotel.

I agree the prices at HSW are off the planet whereas I am very happy with my night at HOTP.

Arriving on QF at 0740am Sat morning and departing 1610 Sunday afternoon. I'm up for everything.

I haven't booked flights or sorted out accom (or cleared it with the missus) but I'll be there... :D

Thinking about doing a daytrip only .. but the event starts and ends at both Essendon doesn't it?

Would getting there at 0830 in the morning be alright, and is anyone else getting there around then?
What are the chances of getting back in time for a 1940 departure back home, the only other later option is deathstar at 2050...

1940 departure should be fine, the DC3 flight should be done by 1815, if it gets tight we could always do a touch and go at MEL with the door open LOL.
