A quick check of the Virgin website shows it's bigger than domestic carry on allows! I assume it's international carry on size.

Are there any cases that are lighter than that?

I have a Samsonite carry on with identical dimensions which has been on numerous VA flights. It is permissible at 115cm as domestic carry on on QF.
Yes there are cases lighter than this, my current one is 2.2 Kg

That is an ugly suitcase.

Would be interesting to know the cost to manufacture a suitcase that retails for $349 and is given away as part of a beer promotion.

Agreed.. It's ugly & would rate the value at around $50.
I won't be using it ( have too many bags already) & by the time it arrives it shall be even more 'old hat"
Probably give it to someone 'in need".
Anyway - all gain as it is only the postage paid & I needed to stock up on more beer. :mrgreen:

You can easily order it at a VC store if they are out of stock. I did so last night. Took 2 mins and they'll call me when it comes in.
