FHR is available on all Platinum & Centurion cards worldwide.

Learn something new every day, was my understanding it was just Platinum in the US. Unfortunately I don't think a Platinum Edge is eligible and I don't think the annual fee on a Platinum Charge is worth it!

I know it's included in your post... But I'm just wondering if they have "enhanced" it further by removing qantas..

There is a rumour floating around in other forum. Seems like 2014 is gonna be an exciting year for centurion with numbers of new benefits currently being organised.

Cant wait to see that becomes reality

It better be so - my renewal date is Sunday - I was going to cancel until Cruiserette recently experienced a couple of QP lounges courtesy of Cent - I was told if I cancelled I would be risking my leftie - decided to keep it.

You are perfectly correct. Marco Polo and Qantas Club benefit offers have both been recently removed from the Centurion website.

I thought you'd dumped Cent so how do you know? Don't you you have to log on to look at the website

The story so far...

Marco Polo Diamond - gone
AA Admirals Club access - gone
US Airways Club access - gone
Mandarin Oriental bonus free nights - gone
Qantas Club membership enrolment - looks to be gone
Avis Presidents Club enrolment - looks to be gone

New benefits - nil

Centurion is a hard one, been a member for over 6 years and now started to make them work!

MO has removed the free night thing but i get really early check in and late check out, 6am in and 8 out, can't complain.

Get Centurion to set up your Kris Flyer, then for some reason you can transfer points across to them and get a return first ticket to Europe for 220k points and $1 k tax.

one night at the Peninsula in Hk is still there.

I generally get the seat next to me blocked out unless its a fully booked flight,

The biggest benefit is the car hire, i get Porsches through Avis out of Germany for about 80 euros per day unlimited ks and full insurance.
The rest of the services are a bit half coughd. Some 20 something looking on google for holiday ideas.

The relationship manager I have is great and has made getting things done with no complication.

At the end of the day the program is designed to fleece people with too much money or do not care. Each year i make it a point to get my worth out of them to make it pay.
You need to look what you can get out of them

Whats the 2014 cost...as you did not put that on the list ie all this for ????????

5k Join (unless you have been in for a while), 5k per year

My RM moved over to be on the "vendor team" I hope he is good at that job so some of the benefits get replaced, up until the above, I didnt know Avis/Qantas were no longer on the list, Qantas I dont care as I am close to P1/LTG this year, Avis was handy but I havent hired many cars in the last 18 months

I think they waive the $5k joining fee for most people to make you feel "special"

I thought that might be their plan, good early marketing when/if people come in

You don't need QC if they give you Skywards Gold? Airline and hotel benefits look cool!

Forgot to mention the other benefits.
When you book travel with them you get to pay over market rates with no guarantee your itinerary is the same as the ticket and they charge you to make the changes,
They ring you at 3 am to remind you your balance is due next week,
They organise fast track when you are in transit, still don't understand this one.

But the card does have some advantages I am sure no one else has tried,
run it through a knife sharpener and it makes a great Ninja star! They replaced it within 6 hours after i sent them the link on youtube and promised to remove it.
they did organise midget tour guide for a private tour of Dom Perignon for my
When booked Suite at a Westin property on FHR with a further upgrade already confirmed and was downgraded to the entry level room, about 800 euros a night difference. I decided to redecorate the lobby and they sorted it out with the Management at no extra Charge.

The $5k compensation they ask for each year is quite fair, when they drop it maybe i will start behaving

probably not!
