Never have I cared so much for an election result, and its not even my country.

I keep reminding myself that my various US friends, that range from lefty Jewish chick in NY to hard core Clinton hater in Indiana, are allowed to have their own opinion on their politics but damn, both choices overwhelming suck.

Well this pretty much sums up the election.

Quite the opposite. The share market rose recently when Clinton was cleared by the FBI.

This is Brexit all over again - all the perennially indignant at it again predicting catastrophe and happy to lose their money again by backing losers. $AUD is actually falling (yes FALLING) against the USD - has dropped a cent in the last few hours since Trump put in a better than expected showing today. ASX futures dropped too when people panicked because they have been listening to the dingbats in the media - yes the same ones who told us only this morning that Hillary had a 90% chance of winning. Take a look people - the futures are UP over 100 points in the past hour after bottoming out. Does that remind anyone else of Brexit?

Believe it or not, not having Hillary as President will breathe a whole new sense of optimism in the US of A.
