Why is that? Surely you'd want the best in pole position or should there be a lucky dip each race?
I think it's more a reference to Hamilton as being the winner over the season. I find him a bit of a prat so not unhappy when he does not win, even though I accept he is a very good driver with perhaps the best car.

Qualifyimg was weird, Bottas on his last qulifying lap recorded the fastest qualifying sector times (purple) in s1 and s2 but somehow faded in s3 to start in p2.

Simply bad mistake by RIC, he'd been left enough room and didn't need to go off track.

And should have been aware of the concrete path/culvert

MB now stating Lewis had a problem with the floor of his car. Whilst undoubtedly true, would seem they didn't need to tell the world unless it was to placate their #1 driver.....

It was good to see VB take the win.
I also think Nico H did well.

This, plus Stroll finishing ahead of Perez important for him. Gasly being unable to get in front of Kvyat not a good look. They were stuck in a train meaning Kvyat could "defend" with DRS.

Some questions will be happening at Haas after a loose wheel again......

I wonder if they will get an "unsafe release" penalty for the loose wheel in the next race.

I thought (and may be incorrect) that to be penalised it required the wheel to actually separate from the car, and in this case he brought it to a halt before that occurred (albeit it was wobbling).

This is very useful for those with a strong interest in motor sports.

2018 was the biggest year yet for Rushsync. We served up 2,645 sessions across 530 events for 42 different series at 244 tracks around the world.

2019 is going to be even bigger.

We have added the following new series for 2019: Asian Le Mans Series, Blancpain GT World Challenge America, European Le Mans Series, GT4 America, MotoE (fingers crossed!), TC America and W Series, the new women’s championship.

And that’s just for starters; there’s more to come.

So why not add something new to your subscription? It’s a wide world of motorsport and Rushsync makes it easy to follow.

Daylight saving time has already started for some in the northern hemisphere but remember with Rushsync you never need to worry about converting time zones or remembering daylight saving changes. The session times will always be correct for your time zone in your calendar.

I hope you are looking forward to a great year of motorsport. I know I am!

Cheers
David
