The thing about climate change is can we realistically change anything, not just in Oz but globally. We have failed to deal with war, famine & pestilence and yet somehow people think that globally we can change the climate. Surely at some point there has to be a reckoning about how to adapt, rather than thinking we can turn it all back or stop further change.

Pushka it feels like lots when the land tax bills turn up.
Tonight we will house about 150 and a few more if it is cold or wet or both.
We recycle water for toilets and gardens are watered with non potable water in the social housing projects.
Back to the news now......have you all voted?

We went about 9.15 and it was quiet. I was supposed to work as a polling official but then cancelled the job as we may have had to make a trip to Victoria to sort out my mother's care package. Is it is, we didn't. I quite like working on the election as it provides a satisfying feeling (as well as a little cash). But then, last election I didn't get home till nearly 1am.
With the huge pre poll, it's going to be impossible to call tonight which is a pity but we will watch the coverage anyway. :D

AisleSeat you must feel cheated....no queue and no afters is pretty tough.
