I guess those who bailed out of their Alpine contract are feeling a bit of random relief.

What...... the.......... hell........ was with the red flags? Yellows would have been absolutely fine. Doctored race......

Suspect the Red Flag for an issue on track that might not be cleared before the checked flag was the workshopped solution to Abu Dhabi 2021

Suspect Michael Masi was quietly chuckling somewhere around the track.

I've seen elsewhere suggested that a rolling start should have been used..
Well Mugello 2020

And late red flags have worked successfully before such as Baku 2021
(Where Hamilton lost himself 25pts.. which would become rather important later on)

i’m not terribly interested, but I did hear a report yesterday that there were spectators on the track side of the fence that’s meant to keep spectators out. Sone behind the barriers, others hanging over the fence onto the track side.

Those of us looking forward to the Italian GP at Imola on Sunday night won’t have to stay up late now as the race has just been cancelled due to flooding.
It’s unlikely to be rescheduled this year as the calendar is already crowded.

Well, today's Monaco GP had a bit more going for it than usual. The rain made it "interesting". I wonder if Alonso was driving with crossed fingers, hoping that Verstappen would make a mistake. Do we call that the @JessicaTam / @Flashback factor, since I think both of them were there in person?
First F1 race I've watched from start to finish for the better part of a decade, and it might've been been the last for a similar period but for the rain making it lively at the end (to be honestIy would've been utterly disappointed if the rain hadn't showed up).

Monaco is an atrocious track for modern F1 races. They either need to change the format somehow, or seriously consider removing it off the calendar.
