Nice. Any others in particular? IHG was a gimme with the SM + Ambassador . Accor is, well Accor. Marriott and Hyatt are useful and a lot easier outside Oz!

I have Accor with QF and IHG Diamond Elite with the OzBargain thing last year. Marriott with Amex Plat, still have the Shang Jade thing too.

Have previously flirted with Hyatt and might go back there depending on where my future travels take me.
I’m a creature of habit though so still have a fair few forward bookings with my favorite Hilton group hotels.

Accor is Accor but it has been handy especially with their higher end properties. Qantas has dragged them out of the ditch on their back office operations IMHO

IIRC, the retention off for renewal in 2023.came at the start of 2023 - for many it was stay once.

Any retention offer might come early next year, or not at all.

Wow I just assumed it was HH plat to HH Gold. Actually will change my booking plans if free breakfast no longer on the cards.

This means you would have Qualified for Silver in 2023. i.e. At least 4 stays or 10 nights or 25K base points in 2023.

If none of that then all status goes completely.

Silver it is for me then unless the status gods wish to visit. For those that got an offer did you have minimal or lots of upcoming visits booked. Was wondering what could be done to make a potential offer more likely.TIA

I haven’t bothered to attempt to retain Diamond this year and will most likely end up on around 25 nights for the year but not too fussed. Not many of the big groups are strong in Scandinavia where our main holiday is next year and I can’t justify the spend with them whilst I have Accor Diamond and GHA Titanium that should see me fine in Europe. If all else fails then Mrs Jase is a VA Plat and has never matched to HH Diamond so we might pull the trigger on that down the track

Perhaps an odd quirk about Rollover Nights. I'm not sure I have this 100% correct. My current 2023 status is Diamond and my nights count is currently 54 earned nights and 1 Rollover Night from 2022 = 55 nights. To re-qualify, Diamond needs 60 nights. Gold needs 40 nights. If I stay 5 more...
