Agree. It seems quite common in the UK. We purchased tickets for the Chelsea Flower Show - expensive - but then couldn't go. We resold them within 12 hours on the authorised site.

Do you make any margin in re-selling, or it's just whatever the ticket cost you (or less, in some cases, I suppose)?

I was happy just to recoup almost the cost. I was in Australia and trying to post tickets etc overseas was problematic.
