I only have Kayo for motorsports, dont watch football, soccer, fights etc, just cars.
No Foxtel or Netflix or whatever else is the rage this week..

Yes its getting expensive, just before all the new plans started I got a AFL Members package for $250, 2 screens so if you split with a friend its affordable. Also now a Brisbane Lions members...lol

I just dont get why I can get the same SKY broadcast from a Russian site for free, clear as crystal. OK its not live but I rarely watch it live anyway unless its in our timezone...

My 2 year flirtation with Kayo died last year when they basically eliminated most discounted subscriptions. It was sometime painful to watch anyway as 5% of the time it would go into the buffering wheel of woe/wait. (This at their end - nothing wrong with our internet speeds.)

I never have buffering issues with KAYO 4K but it is expensive as I only really watch motorsport and the occasional AFL Mini.

I'm annoyed that the audio is not 5.1 surround as you would expect with a 4K vision feed. Typical of cheapskate Aussie media providers.

Netflix/Foxtel is just this decades Napster...used to be illegal...now we pay for it.

There is usually another cheaper way...thats what this website IS FOR!

Let me be more specific.....how do you watch F1 if not on KAYO or FOXTEL (except for the Aussie GP on TEN)?

I'm all for supporting local media. (I used to work in the media on major events). Piracy has destroyed the industry in Asia and other markets.

Yes, you can watch anything for free but the quality is often suspect and decent content costs a significant amount to produce and deliver in 4K quality.

Not that Aussie companies deliver the best quality if they think they can get away with it. (Rant over).

That was my point...my Kayo quality that I PAY for is NO BETTER than the overseas websites someone may or may not have used in the past.

Piracy comes in many forms, everybody is for supporting Aussie jobs supposedly but then they go and use Amazon, Uber and Doordash etc because they start off a little cheaper and easier with shiny apps and bonuses etc, then Aussies wonder why there are no local businesses left.

Maybe we should start another Kayo problems thread for this discussion....

Definitely not the same, and will happen again in 2025, given the number of races and advancing age of the man.

Karun made a few mistakes while I was watching, but eh ..... roll on the race. Piastri looks to be in with a decent chance if he has good race pace.

Didn't piracy rates reduce once streaming services became quite affordable? Now the streaming landscape is going back to the old media controlled rip-off position, so expect piracy to increase again.
