I didn't realise the start times were earlier for Baku, so I'm only just now catching the F2 Feature Race start and... whoah!! That was a helluva shunt!! Very glad to see everyone walked away. Replay from the rear was graphic to say the least!

If F1 are serious, which I hope they are, then they need to build some compliance into their contracts with the host cities.

Couldn't agree more JT. It's one thing for them to talk a big game, but if it's not backed up by their actions, then what's the point?

Bins at large events (other than probably in Japan) pretty much end up so co-mingled that they probably have to manually sort anyway if they are recycling.

Anyhow back to green racing in F2.

Well, from what I've seen on the world feed, it would appear that (at least some of) Baku's zebra crossings are "green"

Mansell had a shocking in lap (dropped 3 secs to Mini) and then a poor pitstop.

And Maloney blew that with the lockup. Antonelli lucky to stay in the race.
Mini got hugely undercut there as well.

Once watching World Superbikes a crash on the finish straight resulted in one rider riding straight over the head of another who went down just ahead of him. This happened almost infront of where I was seated. Certainly confronting.

The F1 commentary team on Sky/Fox (aka Kayo) are imho quite good. Bernie Collins is very good and knows her stuff.

Congratulations to David Croft for talking a few races off to get married.

I’m trying to work out what VCARB’s strategy was for him? I mean… they ran him on hards for 49 laps What on earth were they trying to achieve there with leaving him in complete no man’s land??
