I read Hamilton’s salary at Ferrari will be $100million.
And given Ferrari’s market cap grew $7 Billion just on the news he was joining he team, I’d say it was a bargain signing!I read Hamilton’s salary at Ferrari will be $100million.
Piero Ferrari still has quite a few I believe.Amusing reading Fox breathlessly report that the Hamilton signing has "earnt Ferrari" $6bn" ......
The $6bn reactive jump in market cap is paper money for the shareholders, not money into the Ferrari bank account lol
I'm sure he does...still doesn't mean that shareholder capital goes to the companyPiero Ferrari still has quite a few I believe.

Yeah, I know it wasn't exclusively due to HAM signing and that it's all on paper/spreadsheet rather than cold hard cash in the bank. Nevertheless, I'd say the news re: HAM did positively impact market sentiment towards Ferrari and I have no doubt that they will end up with cold hard cash in the bank courtesy of sponsors, future sales courtesy of the HAM effect etc etc.Was more due to financial results (higher profit)
Innocent until proven guilty, but can guarantee the trial-by-media will commence in earnest. I’m not a huge fan of Whinger Spice, but he deserves due process like anyone else.Christian Horner being investigated internally for allegations of misconduct. So much for a quiet off-season.

Reports Horner and Newey have “get out” clauses in their contracts if one or the other leave (as does Verstappen apparently).
The F1 equivalent of a coaches “full support of the board” in football lexicon. In which case, I wonder if the imminent inquiry into Horners’ conduct will be less condemnatory. Because if that results in his resignation, Verstappen and (imo more importantly) Newey could leave too, and then that’s Red Bull gutted.
In true F1 fashion Newey has apparently denied this rumour
