Well, she is a Uni lecturer in breakdancing so she mixes with the young kids. But her age wouldn't matter if a) she could actually perform the required moves, and b) she was fit! She works supposedly full time. Olympians don't work at anything but their craft. So

I continue to be amazed at what some people get paid to do. Surely that is a lecture room going to waste that could be used to percolate a real education.

It's to bring them up to a speed of 50 kmh for the race. If a rider passes the pace motor bike 🏍 before a specific point the race is stopped, the rider disqualified and then restarted.

Were some 40yo skateboarders. Should they not compete. Not to mention some of the shooting and equestrian events.

Anyhow Raygun won the Oceania champs, much like here much younger male compatriot... He also didn't score many points 1-17, 0-18, 1-17.

Then Tom Cruise - a la Mission Impossible -launches into the arena , gets the on BMX bike and sky dives into LA.
But I do like the Olympic Hollywood rings with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers singing in the background and various athletes transporting the baton to the beach and real band playing. Even Anthony Kiedis in a moonboot (a la Simon Biles)!! They really do sound better after dark and indoors

Personally would be happy to dump any sport with a weight category. Lots of sports have natural advantages to people of various weights, heights or even ethnicities.

Also of note China took 3 Gold, 2 Silver from Women's boxing. US only got a bronze from Mens.
