Well butter me on both sides. I decided to pose the question to the Chat function on Australian Super and they confirmed I am good to go - not sure how given my point in the previous post, so off for another 20k points.

Except a glitch...

We've received your application and will process it manually.
Seems like something's gone wrong. But don't worry - we'll sort it out at our end.

We'll be in touch with you shortly.

If you have any questions, you can call us on 1300 300 273 from 8am to 8pm AEST weekdays.

I am in the same position as your wife and whilst I did see the verbiage you quoted I also carefully went through the T&Cs to see where I would be excluded, and my conclusion was that they were trying to ensure that they were acquiring bona fide new applicants and not new accounts for existing account holders.

I was able to sign up without issue despite my account with them at least a decade ago. I fully expect to receive the 20K.

We should each do our due diligence on the T&Cs. There is only one way to find out and if it costs me a few bucks to be wrong, I'll take it :)

I did a direct debit for the $350 over the weekend. Nothing yet taken out of my account. How long does this normally take?

I believe there's a delay for initial direct debit authorization (I have had this with credit cards such as Amex before, as well). Once it is established I believe it's a lot quicker.

Ok - so I was a bit to eager with my rollover as thought the exit fee wasn't getting abolished til July 1 - so only ended up with $317 :( Should've waited til April 1 - ah well - $33 for 20k points aint bad :)

I did notice a long delay in the crediting of my salary to the Aus Super Account. But as of yesterday i have met conditions and am now waiting for the points.

Did my rollover yesterday. $350 contribution, less $52.50 tax (submitted a notice of intention to claim the contribution as a tax deduction), after admin fees and earnings total rollout was $299.22, which is a profit of $1.72. :) (299.22+52.50-350)

Took out a policy on March 10. Points awarded April 3.

Now to cancel.

Took out a policy a tad later 14th I think it was. $350 deposited 21st March. 20k in QFF today (3rd April).

Same for me. PIA with my super fund I have to download a PDF rollover form and provided a heap of details and then have to send back to them via snail mail - shame it can't be done all online.

Oh and will have to close the account in cases they charge fees still, although I think the full rollover out does that.

I deposited $350 on 13th March into new account with Australian Super. 20k QFF points landed in account on 3rd April.

Filled out rollover online in my existing super fund (not Australian Super) on 3rd April.

Just received statement today 10th April that states rollover complete on 4th April and account automatically closed in Australian Super as total balance was rolled over.

$350 deposit
$2.63 interest
$4.50 admin fees
$348.13 Balance

$1.87 for 20k QFF points. Nice!

I'm in with a smile.

My new Aust Super account number is xx_ xx_ xx_ 747

My bank SMS Code was xx_-767

Blue skies it seems

Noticed in my points statement the other day that I'm 20,000 points richer!
Pretty happy with how easy this offer was.

Im just checking how others have paid their $350 into the account. Did you do it through the BPAY option?
I've used both bpay and direct debit in separate payments to make the $350 and got the points.
