No, my wife and I both got it, and we are both Gold. Pity we are in Europe at the moment already, and Economy only makes it less appealing...

I have a QF Gold card and I received the offer. My first thoughts (after working out whether I could use the offer) were that it suggests poor loads on the LHR flights.

It's a pretty good deal though...

Only 6000 more points than on AA for the same flights. Oh and maybe still a bit more in the way of fuel fines than AA.
