Received the offer as well. Currently a SG with 0 SC since December (status reset was November) and one QF booking in the next few months. Have booked my flights on VA for travel in Jan and Feb 2017 as I was offered SG on VA for 3 months (thanks FlyBuys :)) but will go back to QF after so I should be able to take advantage of the offer.

Yep received the current 50% offer this morning.

I will requalify Gold next weekend with no future bookings.

Pity it wasn't international as I have a booking in the planning stages.

Just double checking quickly - is this offer limited to DOMESTIC AU travel only ???

I received the +50% offer today and it was greatly appreciated for my last minute Xmas booking MEL-SIN return I made this arvo. I had a question regarding the booking and rang CS and in the course of the conversation the CSR said "But that offer sent today is only valid for Domestic flights...."

I checked and rechecked my email - and registration confirmation page - and it says nothing specifically about Domestic restrictions, only says:

An eligible flight for the purpose of this promotion means any flight with a QF flight number on the ticket where Status Credits are normally earned"
.
.
Status Credits are earned on eligible Qantas, oneworld alliance airlines, Jetstar Airlines and Fiji Airways flights only - see the Airline Earning Tables for details.

Thanks for your thoughts...

Perhaps there is more than one promo running at the same time.
I just checked my email and the subject line reads:

"Fly to New York, get 50% more Status credits".

The following blurb from my offer email says nothing about domestic only.

There's never been a better time to book with Qantas. For a limited time, you'll be rewarded with 50% more Status Credits on eligible flights with a QF flight number on your ticket.[SUP]*[/SUP]

You can enjoy this offer on an unlimited number of flights booked in the next 7 days so it's a great way to help get your Status Credits balance soaring.

Simply
register and make a new booking between 1 December 2016 and 7 December 2016 for travel from 1 December 2016 to 31 March 2017. And don't forget to include your Frequent Flyer membership number in your booking.

My offer ran for bookings between 01 &07 December with flights completed by 31 March 2017.
Two separate bookings made ( the long way 'round - of course) with FF number included and ticketed.
Guess now one will have to wait and see if the offer has been enhanced.

Ah sequential offers

i had the 50% offer for domestic and international flights on 11 Nov for travel valid til 9 Feb so booked a couple of trips. (At 10 SC per leg the values pretty terrible....)

then this offer today for domestic ONLY appears more broad-scale.... with a longer travel period to get them through the low Christmas period (well except for Christmas New Year week when "highway robs" happen. The flights I'm taking to Sydney have only flex fares left and they're more expensive than the 2-for-1 business tics I bought earlier in the year !!)

I got one yesterday as an SG with 1360SC for the year and way more than enough bookings to reach WP. Mine is specific to AUS domestic travel. Between Jan and June.

I'm wondering if you use the offers they target you more. Used the DSC, received a 50% offer I didn't use then received another 50% offer I've booked and may book another with QF but I think NZ flight time suits better (I loathe the 6am QF departures from AKL:().

I used to receive the Qantas hotel 30$ off offer but never used now I never receive!

I used the global DSC offer and have not received any 50% offers. I do have significant bookings SC wise already booked so I guess that could be a factor too.

I had some forward bookings after receiving the first 50% but the 2nd lot no, just booked this week.

I got the offer the other day, clearly says domestic only for me. I've used it for one booking in May.

I registered for the promo but maybe a couple of days later booked via the website - not via the email link. My email doesn't say anything about it being limited to domestic but I'm NZ based. I just tried booking another flight from NZ-Oz one way using the link but the drop down destinations only listed domestic Oz origins which has me slightly worried (but not too much as QF was the cheapest that day). So I've booked via the usual way.

Keeping the email aside in case the 50% sc don't show up. May have to wait 6 wks!

Received a 50% bonus SC offer this morning and the terms & conditions just say Qantas marketed flights with a QF flight number are eligible (no domestic-only restriction). 7 days to book, for travel 12 December to 11 April 2016 - the end of the travel period is pretty much the same as the 'global' DSC offer earlier this year, so not particularly useful for me.

WP with 240 SCs and 2 sectors in the anniversary year-to-date (which finishes on 30 September).

I received this offer last week - domestic QF only for me.
PS with 585 SC and 2 sectors, anniversary July.
Can easily get back to Gold. :)

Yes, my offer was domestic only as well:

"Dear Oatek,

Right now, we're giving you the opportunity to earn 50% more Status Credits on all eligible Qantas domestic flights*.

Simply follow these steps by 11.59pm (AEDT) 15 December 2016"

Oatek, I got the same offer (domestic only too) with same expiry on 15 Dec. Qantas must have worked out (not hard) that almost the only domestic flying I do is to ADL in March for the Adelaide Fest and Womad, with a very occasional BNE jaunt. Otherwise it is to NZ 4-5 times a year and maybe Europe twice a year. So I do need the 50% SC offers on those (only in economy) to punt along continuation of Gold. I have however taken it into my own hands to upgrade my coming trip in a few days to AKL from econ to F on QF/EK (a first). Darn thing cost me $100 for the change alone of course, but F was on sale at only $899 one way (J was $749), which is normally about $1350! So spending and extra $550 on top of $430 to get 120SC rather than 25SC was "worthwhile" (lets face it I normally have to overspend to get SG).

The last targeted 50%SC offer I got was in May 2016 when I was already set to coast into Gold with 605SC with a final trip to NZ about then. So it was useless then - why overspend on another flight and useless SCs just to have the SCs vacuumed away at the end of my year June? They even "comp'd" me Gold as i was so close at 565SC (but the return econ to AKL in May took me to 605). The vagaries of that QF offer computer! The F trip to AKL will take me to just over 400 so getting another 200 to retain SG is not that hard in 6 months, regardless of their domestic offer.

Okay, a last minute trip to SYD next week and this has swayed me to think about booking with QF...but I'll still put up two tabs with my desired flight times and see if it's worth it.

Edit: QF lost out, as my flights needed to be after 11 Jan for bonus SC's.

I received this offer as well, but am not sure of my travel plans at this stage. If I purchase a QF voucher now (taking advantage of the x5 points and Amex offer) and then subsequently book flights, am I able to get the 50% SC bonus on the flights?
