am I able to get the 50% SC bonus on the flights?
th

Effectively yes. Just keep in mind the applicable flight dates.

It's a good time with the Amex rebates, I've already used up one for a friend but have another to use.

I just received a similar SC offer for any QF flight. I never fly QF these days (barely living in AU) and just scrape the 4 ~ to keep WP. But hey, I was about to book a major J/F itin on QF/EK for later this month, earning several hundred SC so QF sure know how to perfectly time their targeted offer (or poorly time from their perspective!)

Obviously everyone is getting slightly different offers. I have one week to book and flights can anytime up to mid April. I'm right at the start of my QF year.

I received this offer as well, but am not sure of my travel plans at this stage. If I purchase a QF voucher now (taking advantage of the x5 points and Amex offer) and then subsequently book flights, am I able to get the 50% SC bonus on the flights?

Yes as you long as you book according to the promotion terms and conditions.

Just to clarify I was planning to buy the voucher today and then redeem it for flights later. So the flights themselves would be booked outside of the promo dates. Would that work?

Registered for this and booked flights in the window. Flew last Friday and Sunday but no bonus yet? Anyone else?

MY experience with past SC bonus offers is that the base SC for the flight credit in the normal time (24hrs) and the BONUS SC are processed in 1-2-3 weeks... sometimes it's quick, sometimes it takes a bit to come through. I reckon it says in the T&C that bonus SC can take up to 6 weeks to appear.

Had a trip last week

4 days (including a weekend) , 2 days, 3 days (late flight) for the extra credits to register

Does anyone happen to have a screenshot of the T&Cs for the December round of this offer? I took a screenshot of the confirmation, but forgot T&Cs.

I booked a classic award DRW-BNE and a cash fare (red-e) discount Y BNE-DRW on the same PNR.

My activity statement is shows BNE-DRW as an ASA with the base 20SC.

I'm wanting to check if there were exclusions if booking in conjunction with a Classic award before I call to query why it has showed up as an ASA and ask for my missing 10SC.

Doesn't this mean you're 10SC ahead? The classic award shouldn't be earning any SCs..

No. There was no earn on the Classic Award. Nor should there have been.

But the revenue fare was a red-e deal booked in discount economy (N). Base SC for this sector is 20. These have credited.

So there's 10 bonus SC missing and I can't understand why it comes up as an ASA when it was a revenue fare.

UPDATE: These SC's have now posted and I didn't need to call. I just needed to be patient.

Just received an email for 50% bonus SC's for any number of booking's with a QF flight number, for bookings made in the next 7 days. The email specifies that flights must be taken by May 6th 2017.

At first I was felling very much .... meh ....about the email as it was titled " Fly to London, get 50% more status credits". I initially thought this was a London specific offer, but after further reading in the small print the email is unlimited in destination and fare class.

Happy Days :)

Anyone else receive an offer?

I wonder how random these offers are - I presume there's some sort of targeting with whom receives the offer? Any theories?

Didn't receive this offer :(. Would be good timing if I did. :)

I have no proof for my theory although I'm happy to point out that I've just started my new membership year, with not a single forward booking in my QFF account, and no recent flight searches on the QF website.

Perfect timing with a SC balance of zero :)

Myself and another household account received a 50% SC offer this morning. I'm currently sitting on 2,025 SC with the other account sitting on 865 SC - both accounts have 6 weeks to go before year ends. Both offers have the same terms; book before 20/1/17 for flights between 13/1 - 13/4.

Baiting for WP1 and WP ... or a push start for the new year?
