Unfortunately my 50% SC bonus for 4 flights over Easter have yet to post (over 6 weeks ago). Hopefully it will relatively painless to get them credited when I call.

I'm in the same boat for a trip taken in early April, with standard points posting but not the bonus 50% S/C.

I booked this reservation by redeeming a gift voucher purchased during the Christmas period, so I suspect in going to have to call up due to the voucher generation date being different from the actual booking date.

Received the below email this morning. I didn't register for the open double status credit point promotion as I had no need to book flights during that period and already have enough forward bookings to retain WP. At this stage I am inclined to pass on this one as IIRC the recent open double status credit points had a bar on people who had taken up earlier offers?

That bar was quickly removed but there's no guarantee that they would do so again. If you won't benefit from the offer I guess you don't need to use it.

Received 50% offer a couple of days ago... didn't take up the DSC.

Anyway, just booked a pretty decently priced BNE-SYD-LAX-SYD-BNE for 660c ... fingers crossed for a couple of el cheapo F upgrades!

Yesterday I phoned up to chase up the missing Status Credits from this earlier promotion.

The QFF service centre thought I was entitled to double points, ( ie: a completely different promotion) but I told them this is from an individually targeted promotion for 50% bonus SC's.

With so many different promotions being offered in the last 6 months, the operator was confused on which offer I was referring to.

I was first told that I made the booking on December 29th, but when I explained that this was the voucher generation date, they looked into it further and after I sent them the targeted email they sent me originally, I had a QFF rep phone me back to let me know the additional 50% SC were going to be credited to my account.

I've come to the conclusion that any bookings made with a voucher during promotions such as this cause problems at QF's end when determining when a booking was actually made.
Glad I kept my targeted email :)

this is why I now buy new vouchers to use for promos.

So my wife received an offer in circa March, excellent, although even with the offer she fell 80 SC short of retaining Platinum. Excellent news, she's has been comped platinum, but, she has now received another 50% SC bonus offer! Two offers in three months, alas, nothing for me.
