These points haven't posted yet :(, have sent a PM to Red Roo but yet to hear back. Will wait another week and if no further updates received I'll send off an email to the QFF Team.

I wonder if my +1 will get the 1000 point offer and whether I'll be able to convince him to let me sign him up for the card. He's not the points junkie that I am.

Don't expect any registration points until late 2015 ;)

I'm still waiting for my 500 registration points, a reply to my PM from Red Roo or a response to my email sent to the FF Team on 10/3/14 (have received auto-email). :(

I also received the offer for 1,000 bonus points.

I will hold off for now. Do you think they will offer more?

At the Points + Pay or Qantas Store value of about 0.78 cents per QFF point, at 500 points they were effectively giving you $3.90 to load your card. At 1,000 points, it's $7.80.

I guess if whoever runs the Qantas Cash program really needs to see a boost in their monthly new user numbers, they'll up it to 2,000 points and wear a $15.60 cost.

Received a call from QFF today (a week after email sent), it appears I didn't "register" through the email link therefore not eligible :( oh well....

I guess the lesson is - if you receive an email offer, save a copy of the email until you have the points. Of course, like me, you probably don't save emails for several months and therefore no bonus points. Never mind, at least I know my card works!

Exactly, working for a large corporate business I understand and have no qualms with this policy. I'm with you, at least my card works and I'm earning points on spending money (I'm amazed at how much I've actually spent over the last 3 months )

I recently received the new card but not the email offer. Is the register link specific to the recipient or can I use it to qualify for the bonus points?

Finally I've received this same email offer this morning after missing out the last round! But I'm already overseas now...

Considering registering and loading up but also tempted to let it lapse in the hope for a larger incentive. :)

Yep - I received a 5,000 points offer this morning to register.

Interesting offer. I wonder if they will go higher.

I haven't received any other offers. Do the conditions state the amount needs to be spent or simply loaded?

Doesn't say anything about spend, just loading $AUD1,000 in foreign currency within 21 days.
