50SC on offer with BP

Ditto. I wasn’t driving much even before lockdown. I was going to rely on some road trips in QLD and NT about now…

Maybe I’ll stockup on Kit Kats and loo paper…

I don't think it's accurate. Mine also says 4 visits away but I've already spent twice, both over $50. Screen grab showing the points hitting my QFF account.

I've just checked my BPRewards account and it shows I still need 3 further purchases of $50+, even though I have 3 valid purchases already showing in my Qantas account.

I wonder if it's based on the date I activated the offer?

To be on the safe side I'm now budgeting for a further 3 visits to BP. Shouldn't be a problem as I have several vehicles which need filling up.

Happy to do so. I'm keen to get the SC's ASAP, as I need then for the fast track Gold offer of 100 SC's by 30 September.

Initially, I didn't think I'd need them, but with having to cancel so many revenue bookings, I'm now quite worried...

Unless you're talking a different promotion, I couldn't find any reference anywhere on BP or QF re needing to activate the offer? - as I understand it, you just need to be a BP rewards member (new or current doesn't matter) and fill-up 5 times over $50 over separate days (one time to go...)

Perhaps my confusion stems from the fact that I received 2 offers, one as a QFF member and later, another one as a Points Club member, which offered an additional 1,000 points..

I'm wondering if this hasn't also confused the BPRewards app?

Anyway, as mentioned previously, I'm going to play it safe for the 50 SC's and do 6 fill ups if that's what the app is saying. I would easily have done this anyway with the number of cars in my family.

@exceladdict - I just saw that earlier in this thread, you posted that SC credits will appear up to 8 weeks AFTER the promotion ends - are you sure that's correct, as the terms don't specify in this regard? (I had interpreted it as 8 weeks after making your 5th purchase of $50 and I wanted to get the SC into my account before the current fast track promotion ends at end of Sept, which is when this BP promotion ends as well!).

Also, just as a tip for all - I was speaking with BP rewards today and they had to manually update my account to reflect my 5 purchases, as my account wasn't reflecting no. purchases correctly --- they said, however, it might be b/c I made my purchases on a BP Plus card, which might be confusing their back-end system - in any case, just fyi (as I'd been getting some incorrect emails telling me how many $50 purchases to go).

I have completed the five fills (a road trip, 3/4 fills, and judicious use of PULP helped). The app was counting down the fills, and is no longer telling me xx fills to go, and the points have posted. Just awaiting the SCs now.

The offer and the countdown are two seperate cards. the BP app is pretty new, which means stuff like this is likely under developed.

I feel like a variant of this is in most QFF promotion terms and conditions but is applied extremely inconsistently, which is why I'm keen to know what happens in reality.

I'm on the opposite side, I would like mine not to post until after september when my year resets

The rep I spoke to at BP kind of chuckled when I mentioned that email / notification - I don't think it's a very accurate indictor!

If not for the BNE lockdown I would have done my 5th fill by now.

I contacted BP online as it showed 2 spends when I had done 3. They confirmed three was correct. So I'd just ignore what the app says.
