We had a pretty good guide from the museum for this part of the tour who explained what we were seeing now were original relics but out on the site mainly reproductions.

And now we leave the museum for a glass of wine and a tapa - yes just one. Then some shopping time.

I then went for a walk.

These were actually advertising posters for gin.

We decided then to walk back to the ship. Even for us it was less than 10 minutes walk and we beat most of those who caught the bus back to the ship.

Apart from the Museum the rest of the excursion was a waste of time. The excursion guide really didn't do anything for us.

Back on the ship and straight to lunch. We went to the pool deck and Mrsdrron just had a dessert -the mango Eton Mess and I had the hot dog. All that we needed.



Bombed out again in Trivia but at least I got 2 points in the putting.

Basically the old town was built by the Moors and they didn't need a wall along the Gorge side so people did what they wanted to I guess.

My iPhone tells me I am averaging about 12.5 K steps per day which is very good in view of my mobility problems.

As we steamed from Cartagena towards Palma De Majorca a rather long ship passed us.


Dinner was once again in Atlantide.





Mrsdrron started with the caviar whilst I had the foie gras terrine.



I then had the lobster bisque.




Mrsdrron went with the lobster tail again and I had the seabass.




Dinner with one of a prolific poster on Cruise Critic Silversea boards. An enjoyable night.

Neither of us took an excursion so another 8am sleep in. The views when we awoke in Palma.

After breakfast at the Arts cafe I took the 1030 shuttle into town.





There was a continuos line of trucks coming off a ferry.






We were dropped near the cathedral.

I now headed off to the Palace. I did bring my Seniors card from home so only had to pay 4 euros to enter.
