We met up with friends and to the Jemeriah complex which was 3 resorts combined (hope I got that right). We took a little boat over to our restaurant Al Hambra. An excellent Spanish tapas restaurant. We were asked not to take photos cause there was some locals there but these are some others we took.

The next day I unfortunately had to do some of that disgusting word... Work! So in the morning we caught the shuttle over to the Le Grand Meridien. Staying at GH, you have full access to LGM facilities and the shuttle goes every 10 mins. If you want to sit on the beach or sunbake, this is the place for it. It is massive.

We had planned to have dinner at Atlantis but our friends and some people at the hotel warned us off it. Reviews on TripAdvisor seemed to agree. The place recommended to us was the Buddha Bar which happens to be downstairs at the GH. If you want a drink, be prepared for a big bill. The wines and champers cost so much you leave behind a kidney to pay for it. Thankfully the food is very well priced for the quality of this place. It has a good reason to be up near the top of TripAdvisor list. The ambience is amazing and the service was so over the top it was almost fawning. You are made to feel exceptionally important. No DYKWIA, they treat everyone that way. If you want a table, book in advance. The concierge got us in and the place was packed. Amazing experience.

The price of alcohol is why we like the Executive Clubs. We certainly had our excellent share of alcohol in the Ibn Battuta Gate club - befriending the excellent staff there.

The food certainly looks yummy
