Those chairs look like they've seen better days! Still, I reckon they'll do for your flight. ;-)

Flight radar suggests it's the second newest in the fleet. We had OQB; a few scrapes around the seat but nothing major and didn't affect the comfort. Just a few ife glitches early on.

Doing it hard... Look forward to following the thread

What bubbles is onboard today?

Taittinger Comtes - Blanc De Blancs

Pretty much a free poor as we stayed on the ground for a while before they eventually gave up on the IFE☹️

Very limited IFE on offer - basically some old movies and a few TV shows. Finally got around to knocking of Wild and Argo.

So same as what we got. We had quite a few bottles on the ground too...

Nice meal. Enjoyed the after dinner view, and then crashed for a peaceful 7 hour sleep.

It was - when released - about a decade ago...:p

And don't cut anything too close to the edge of the plate, as it will tilt and emptying the cup requires an advanced back tilt of head .

I just dont seem to have that problem....

Mmmm. I think there is an age thing happening. :D
Mmm, not sure about the 'age thing'.
My problem is that the cutlery looks cheap and nasty. It reminds me of those cutlery sets that were popular for campers where they would stack together and store in a little plastic pouch. It's not well designed for holding or cutting and I don't think it projects an image of 'premium product' for QF, especially First.
The again, maybe it is an age thing

Yep. And we bought those cutlery kits for camping with our kids. Who are now 31 and 26!!!!!! It's an age thing. :o

Agreed, what a ridiculous choice of plates. I can't see anyone for their first time who wouldn't have tried to cut a piece of food close to the edge and had the whole plate upturn and spill everywhere. Another fine effort QF.
