Was that FastWay or AusPost?

AusPost.

I had a Fastway delivery where the additional single bottle wasn’t delivered. Contacted Fastway and Qantas and eventually received a refund. 3 weeks later the single bottle appeared on my doorstep. 🤔

I won't be too sad if it never arrives and not in a hurry to reach out to Qantas given the great deal I've snagged.

I've had similar. Previously ordered a single bottle and a 6 pack of something. Received two different shipping notifications. 6 pack arrived. Two weeks later I called about the missing bottle. They told me it wasn't scanned leaving the warehouse. Would I like a refund or they can re-send the bottle. I took the latter. A few days later received the single bottle. Another few days later received another single bottle 🤷‍♂️ How this organisation is profitable is beyond me.

I went to pick up 3 items from my Post Office, another box of Pommery and the two additional bottles purchased to make the coupon code work on two separate orders.

I handed over the 3 cards and the guy said they had been recalled. I was starting to insist, but he said two items had already been processed and one was there to be delivered.

But he brought out a blue 6-pack of Pommery! ;D

Qantas Wine hadn't been specific as to codes to be sent back, so he processed the two small ones back.

Was thinking of calling Qantas Wine to see what they intend to do, but I'll just wait and see what happens when they get back the two non-Pommery items from two different orders.

LOL! oh the rollercoaster of emotions 😂

Hold on... so did you receive the two Pomms from the two separate orders?

Yes indeed. But none of the additional bottles I bought to use codes, that were worth less than the code value anyway, so I'm ahead enough not to bother chasing it up.

A third one I agreed to cancel.

They are using spurious reasons too, "Address incorrect" (when it isn't) and in my case "Returned to Sender - declined by Receiver at delivery" which I obviously didn't.

This recall practice is just so bizarre it’s beyond me.
Who even knew it was possible once dispatched.

I once asked Nicks to arrange return of a Fastway delivery after Fway claimed attempted delivery 3 times (I was home and have recording cameras) and they couldn't find the item when I went to their depot to collect, apparently out for delivery, which didn't happen. They use Aus Post for my orders since then.

My Aust post tracking still has not been updated to reflect rejection. Was meant to be delivered today in Brisbane

Agreed, Fastway are a nightmare! When I order from Nicks I request Aus Post only for deliveries. I always check if companies use Aus Post or courier and won't deal with a courier company - especially Fastway!

Fastaway isn't really a courier company.
It is a company which engages independent couriers.
Therein lie a lot of the problems.

So, my 1 x Pom + 1 x other case, due to arrive at a Brisbane PO Box, today, have not yet arrived. Would normally be there before 9.00am, based on past experience.

Also, last tracking was Sydney facility on Tue night. No update since then. See what eventuates tomorrow.

Even worse, it's actually a company that sells franchises and the franchisees engage independent drivers.
So if you are lucky you get a good setup, some are happy with the service, in ACT it's been consistently bad over 10 years and multiple franchisees, ignoring instructions, leaving a card in letterbox without attempting delivery, forging signatures.

I have a video still saved of a Fastway guy coming back to check the name on the box of wine he left without ringing the doorbell - for the signature he was forging.

Same. Have a friend at Aus Post who is trying to find out status for Brisbane deliveries.

Don't take this shocking behaviour from QF lying down - go to court and get the champagne that you are entitled to.
