I just received an email from "Qantas Shopping" inviting me to complete a survey to give them feedback on this experience.
I think I'll put that to one side pending delivery.
 
A bit of an update. If your AP is stuck on Tuesday Qantas have not recalled it. AP awaiting further instructions on whether to deliver. Called Qantas waiting for manager to call back.
 
I have been reminded that although Fastaway have a web page which purports to track your deliveries, they do not in fact have tracking infrastructure in place.
Mine still shows "picked up in Sydney" with an icon of a truck which looks as if it has reached a point near Melbourne on the way to Perth.
 
I cannot believe that I have missed such deals .... oh well

Do we know why Australia Post would be doing this? Has Qantas Wine put a hold on deliveries without complete instructions or has Australia Post done this pro-actively for some reason?

AP are not sure what to do given how much work this has created. Qantas manager never called me back. Maybe the interest from our money is improving QF wine cash position!!!
 
This thread has been entertaining but it would likely pale in the presence of the internal Qantas discussions
Qantas Wine seems totally hopeless.

Wine being kept in Sydney for 72 hours so far. And another 3 days until Monday comes around to start moving the orders somewhere?

I received one of these today, I told them what I thought about their uncoordinated and inconsistent response to the situation.
 
Order says 'shipped' on QF wine. AP site still has the parcel stuck in Sydney - status 'delayed'. Credit card has been billed (not pending).

Disappointing that nothing has been done to either make the delivery or refund the money.
 
Qantas deliberately keeping money after THEIR cob Wednesday deadline I think meets the definition of unconscionable conduct. Very disappointed in how QF have handled this. If they had come up and said error, stopped all deliveried and gave back money immediately we would have stopped talking about this days ago.
 
May be worth everyone checking their delivery status. Surprisingly, my latest update (for Brisbane delivery) from Australia Post, has the order being processed at Brisbane facility this morning (Saturday). Expected delivery date is Tuesday:

No change in mine for Brisbane

Edit mine now processed Sunday morning. Delivery Tuesday.
