So, how is Qantas Wine doing with communicating the recalls to members?

Are there email updates or phone calls or are they treating people like mushrooms?

I had one phone call from a confused person who promised to check on the partial delivery of one order and pending delivery of another. Promised to call back. Didn't.
Then the second order was recalled, but I got the Pommery and the single bottle of red went back, along with two bottles of red on the other order where the Pommery was already delivered. Thank you Aus Post and Qantas Wine for both being confused/incompetent.

No further communication in any form.
 
If anyone needs another example of a huge discount offered on Qantas wine, bigger maybe than this Pommery deal, they had the Curtis Martin's Vineyard Shiraz 2016 selling for $28 down from $90.

Now this is fairly standard for Curtis wines at some other retailers, but you could use it maybe to browbeat the call centre person when complaining about your treatment re the Pommery deal.
 
My Fastway delivery status has not changed, still expecting delivery on Friday.
But then I received explicit advice my orders would be honoured.

As of this afternoon my second order shows as arrived in Perth and "package on its way to sorting". No delivery date shown.
The first order is still en route showing a delivery date of Friday 1/11/19.

I called today to ask why they returned my mixed half dozen, I said you’d better hurry up and send it again, as of tonight it’s now on it’s way again...

I spent a long time on the phone with Qantas wine this morning and was told I will not be getting my delivery, can you advise who you spoke with and how you managed to convince them?

the mixed half dozen was the one that was recalled by mistake, I had the Pomery delivered on Friday last week. Qantas Wine have no actual standing to not deliver it.

Buying it was certainly the easy part - getting it delivered was a tad more difficult.
