Seriously, how come seats are only discovered U/S
on boarding? What happens after the previous pax departs and the new ones board; does some-one jump up and down on them and break them? Or doesn't the airline bother to keep tabs on the condition from the previous flight and just shrugs, knowing it can always boot upgraded pax - or some other poor sod - and then everything's OK?
An upgrade on Qantas isn't worth the cardboard its printed on.
