[Head scratching emoji]29 flights in 28 days l
SIN is almost on the Equator. A flight that pretty much goes over the North Pole and then down the other side of the planet is something that absolutely makes me go WowCool inside in a schoolboy kind of way. I want to get out a plastic Readers Digest globe and run my fingers along your flight path.SQ SIN-JFK is the world's longest flight. So as they say in the classics - "because it's there".
I arrived in SIN and headed to immigration. A little tip - fill out the arrival card up to three days before arriving. That saves you having to fill it out in the arrivals hall.
I noticed that my passport e-gate registration expires early next month. But with the new e-gates in SIN I don't think that is relevant any more. A section of the hall is clearly signed for e-gates for AU pax amongst others.
I remember filling in those cards. As it has been a while since I entered SIN (Covid) does the frequent traveller pass/ stamp still work. Mine is still good for another year and wondering if I may need to enter SG to meet renewal requirements or has the whole program changed.
As I said, it looks like it is no longer necessary. AU passports get auto access to the e-gates.
All you evenr wanted to know here (other than if the older enrolment is still valid):...
The SGAC Singapore arrival card is electronic. As with the US ESTA there are a lot of sites purporting to be the government's webpage but charges a fee. The official one is free....
LOL, yes, I think that has been our only meal in a Michelin star venue also!I jumped the gun and skipped a bit. So just to back track, while I was walking the streets of TPE I went and had lunch at a Michelin Star establishment. Probably the cheapest and only time that will happen. Not bad for $8!

Yes I did post the link to the website in my post but I guess I didn’t make it clear enough. I have now added it to the bottom of that post.Sorry to butt in

The SGAC website has a list of Known sites which appear to be SGAC but charges a processing fee
Um… 20.[Head scratching emoji]
How many hotel nights?
Does that include apartments?Um… 20.
Yes. So technically 15 hotels and 1x5 apartment.Does that include apartments?
Yes the immigration Hall was absolutely deserted when I went through; Although my brand-new Australian passport was rejected at the first set of gates, it was accepted at the second set which had an attendant there. As I said, it looks like it is no longer necessary. Also paper on arrival, if you forget the electronic one.The SGAC Singapore arrival card is electronic.

Definitely a flight for the front end of the plane. I would have thought it awesome when I was eight - any seat on the plane - but now, not so much. Probably insist on shades down, anyway, if it's a daytime flight which it would have to be over the pole this time of year regardless of the clock.
Bears on request but they usually have them.I've been ripped off 2xSQ flights and no bear.
Was the bear on request only?

That's true. Nevertheless to my mind - and body - there is a huge difference between being able to stretch out horizontal or merely recline the seat. As a tall side-sleeper I have immense difficulty getting more than a few minutes here and there, mostly when completely exhausted. I'd arrive feeling older and crankier than is normally the case; not the way I like to arrive in New York!If I'm not mistaken SQ run this flight as only J and PE seating, there is no economy as such.
Unless it's bare...Bears on request but they usually have them.
I spotted they had them so asked nicely and got a boy and a girl.I've been ripped off 2xSQ flights and no bear.

I suspect that would generally be rather proactively done on behalf of the Flight Attendants ...Miss Tomcat has been given bears on all her SQ flights to date
