Trying to research this and it appear to have disappeared from Qantas.com

Yes, I drew a blank on the QF page, too, but found the same information on the AA site.
It does look comprehensive.

The AA Arrivals lounge was closed for some time this year for refurbishment.
Perhaps QF removed the reference from their website - and forgot to reinstate it when the lounge reopened?

Tried an online chat - they would not confirm this unless it's "on our website":

Next week I am arriving on QF1 into London. I am travelling Business class. Do I have access to an
Arrivals lounge at LHR?
Jortania: at 14:01:15
Hi there, You can find more information for access in the lounge in London through this link here.
you: at 14:01:47
That does not refer to an "Arrivals" lounge.
you: at 14:02:13
Previously I have had access to the American Airways Arrivals lounge at T3 of LHR.
Jortania: at 14:04:12
You must have an onward flight to access the lounge.
you: at 14:05:50
NO - this is landside ... at T3 ..
Jortania: at 14:07:51
I'm sorry for the delay. I'll be right with you.
Jortania: at 14:10:11
I will be right with you.
Jortania: at 14:11:13
I don't understand, in London there are two lounges passengers travelling can have access to. For
lounges on arrival you won't be able to access them as you will need an onward flight.

As this is advertised on American Airlines website you will be best off speaking with them to have
that confirmed for you.

You can access the Associated British Airways lounge if you have a connecting flight with Qantas.
Any lounges on arrival I cannot confirm if you will have access to. I can only confirm you will have
access to the lounges on our website.

Well, that clears it up! :)
No doubt you gave very positive feedback on the exchange. :)
Such a poor response.

Used this excellent arrivals lounge earlier this month after stepping of Qf 1 in J. There are PLENTY of shower stalls. Has a typical English breakfast. Eggs cooked to order are also available between certain times. Didn't use CD as did not want to rush. It is a little difficult to find. This recent article by AusBT gives you all the info. you need (don't think alot of people know about it)! http://www.ausbt.com.au/qantas-business-first-class-flyers-to-london-get-new-arrivals-lounge

I am aware of the ausbt article - they have a few on this topic.

Does it carry more weight than AA.com which was discounted by 'Jortania' with a:

The article gives you practical info like such a lounge exists, how to find the lounge (a bit hidden away) and what the entry criteria are ;)

I know where it us ... there's a great thread on FT and also plenty here.

Not everyone who reads AFF does...I posted the article for the benefit of everyone as I only became aware of this lounge after reading said article.
Edit: my post quotes your entire reply before it was edited.

I have been aware of it since QF moved to T3 and before that the BA operated one at T4.

Back in the 90's I used the T4 one several times as a QF Gold (Emerald) when travelling economy.

I'm sure there are many others who were not aware and would find the AusBT article interesting and helpful.

I'm not disputing that - in fact there are further links to the same site around on AFF regarding the arrivals lounge. One is indicating that a couple of years ago, Qantas had been very vague as to access rights to this lounge for their First/Business passengers.

Seems they are doing so again ...

I am scheduled to arrive into T3 on Qantas next. My earlier info was wrong (T2). Thanks.

Arrived in F on QF1. Nice breakfast spread, great showers, a big improvement since it was refurbished.

Its pretty good. Just a shame Qantas no longer advertise it anywhere I can find.

Has anyone recently flown on QF1 in F or J, used the AA arrivals lounge and the Chauffeur drive?

Is there still a 90 minutes from landing time restriction?

We are on QF1 in F this December, and hope to approach the Chauffeur Drive desk and tell them we will be back in an hour after we visit the lounge.
