sorry but the AUD$60 is a fee slugged for paying over the phone ?

I have a AA.com booking on hold and want to pay for it with my local AUD credit card, is there a $60 fee ?

Call centre closed today.

I believe that if you pay through the AU call centre, you will be charged $60

If you phone UK ( which is currently open at 0800 here on mon morn ) then you would pay GBP15 (AUD30)

Depends on the cost of fare on whether the currency exchange to AUD would eat up the other $30

I think best I go through Orbitz.com as they will accept my credit card and get me same flights.

Or is there any reason why it would be better to book straight with AA eitehr Aus call centre or UK ?

thanks

I was able to book the flight yesterday on orbitz with my Aus CC no problems. Ticket is now showing on my AA Advantage account.

All Orbitz ask is your Aus billing address and Aus phone number linked to the credit card for verification.

put it on my Wizard MC casue no exchange service fees only day exchange rate is chraged.

This must be a recent change. I tried booking with Orbitz last year and Australia was not part of the list of countries available in the drop down box. I sent off e-mails to Orbitz and they mentioned that were hoping to accept Australian issued credit cards in the near future.
