I thought so too, but then realised it's p/p, so 8,500 YEN each. Still not a bad rate but it makes me think the Westin I got in Kyoto for 12,000 total and Sheraton Tokyo Bay for a similar amount I must have snagged a bargain...

Absolutely! Wish for that type of rate :)

I have been looking at the ridiculous rates for Niseko in January, certainly high demand for the better properties.

Yes I was rather impressed as my last trip my mate & I were paying around 20,000/night at most places.

This time it won't be with my mate, will be the wife, and the cream on the cake is the first night at the Westin which shall be our 1 year wedding anniversary, great price for such a nice hotel

Well done, & nice hotel.. Congrats in advance ;)

For the 1 nighter in Tokyo, given we're in the room to sleep and not getting there till very late have now decided on this EHotel Shinjuku, Great Location in Tokyo (11,700/night total).

Looks OK give it's just somewhere to sleep and won't be spending any more time than that in the room! Also seems to be popular with the amount of bookings it has.

This could suit rather well (as we'll be arriving around 11pm then leaving at 8...), except booking via that website seems to give you a Japanese engine which makes it hard! Did that happen for you also?

No longer relevant I guess since you are staying elsewhere but I don't recall any language issues when booking. I do recall the final price being more than the headline price (and more than what I was expecting) - I am well onto this sort of stuff as a rule but got caught out a little in this instance. Enjoy your trip! :)
