For those with Gold status wondering why no love, I found a little tidbit at the bottom of the promo: “Existing Gold members will receive 10 status nights with five nights stay”. Better than nothing I suppose, and certainly welcome if seeking Diamond qualification.

You can't get to Diamond based on nights, you can only get as far as Platinum.

I meant to say Platinum. I’m confusing the lingo with the other big chains as Accor is a bit new to me.

I got mine today too. Came from qantas. Clicked on it. Went directly to Accor to register.

I received that too after registering, however, mine states :

Simply book one night with us, and your account will be credited with many more Status nights.​

Talk about sticking it to their most loyal (and lucrative) members!

From the offer terms:
No Status Nights will be awarded if you already hold a status higher than Gold.

As a current Platinum whose work travel has dried up, I can’t even use it for a soft landing to gold.
