Accor Fast Track to Silver/Gold/Platinum

I need some advice from the brains trust please.

I have managed to fluke Gold status I suspect through the QF fast track promo and my account says my status is valid through till Dec 2025.

I’m debating whether to take up the 30% A+ offer as we have a stay at the Banyan Tree on Bintan Island in November - booked through Luxury Escapes as the rate was better - and the restaurants appear to accept the dining discount. I could still cancel the LE booking without penalty and rebook direct as I expect that I won’t receive any points for the accommodation having booked with LE.

I have 14 of 30 nights to maintain gold status and with the A+ offer of 20 nights this would push me over the line but, if I have understood the previous posts, that won’t extend my status beyond Dec 2025, is that correct?

If you join A+ this year and then pay the renewal fee next year then it will extend your status to 2026.

Fantastic: thanks for the confirmation.
I have a question about the monthly allotment of Status Points (via ALL Signature): do they hit your account on your anniversary date (so if I sign up today, it will always be on the 26th), or is it not dependent on that?
The reason I'm asking is in December, if you require that final allotment to go up in status, it's cutting it fine before everything gets wiped on 01/01.
Would I be better off waiting and foregoing the current sale?

The points post on the first of each month.

If you signed up today you should get 3000 status points before the end of the calendar year, and 9000 next year (if you don't renew)

Mine posts on the 17th day of each month, which is the same day that I first signed up.
Ah interesting, that tracks. I signed up on the 30th, I'd just figured it posted end of month. Anyone else notice that it seems to float around that day? I'd say 70% post the 30th, the rest around the 1st or 2nd. Possibly doesn't post on weekends?

Hmmm well that's not very consistent! My renewal date is the 27th but my points always post on the 1st!

Seems like this is a popular add on. I might have to crunch numbers and see if it’s worth it or not.

It got very popular late last year when they ran a 15% discount promo.

At RRP, you basically prepay $2k and in return get $2.5k worth of ALL points and 12k status points spread across 12 months.

With the 15% off it came down to $1.7k upfront - prepaying for a 30% discount seemed like a good deal to me.

If you're in no rush, I'd wait a month or two. They will have a lot of ALL Signature subscriptions expiring in Nov and may run another discount code.

Oh, I might have to look into it. Might be able to get me a couple of extra SNU’s

Yep. Mine are on the 26th. Just showed up today, in fact.

Thank you for your feedback - with this being the case. I think that I'll wait as I'd rather not risk miss out.
