Accor Fast Track to Silver/Gold/Platinum

Worked for me, instant boost back from Basic to Silver, plus registered for the Fast Track.
Not that silver is worth much.

The bonus nights offer in the T&C says for corporate bookings.
So regular Accor members can't use this promo?

I’m hoping my SME account will trigger it. Whenever I or SYD+1 book an Accor stay it shows my company name.

Odd, when I posted the program, it got zero interest.

Anyway, if it works for either / both, I’ll report back.

True. I had forgotten about that. Thank heavens for Signature.
I could push Diamond this year but wanted to know whether the benefits would be worth it (from existing Diamond members)?

I'll easily make the cut for Platinum (thanks to Signature) but could re-arrange and modify existing bookings (at a price) to potentially set enough Status Points for Diamond.

What's the experience of existing Diamond members?

My take on why this may be worth it is very subjective, but to me there seems to be a big influx of people reaching Platinum status lately, mostly thanks to ALL’s constant stream of promos—status upgrades, partner free nights, and bonus nights via the various Plus subscription products. ALL Platinum is starting to feel like a pretty crowded tier, and it doesn't take a lot of real spending to get there & enjoy the benefits. Lounges are full, genuine upgrades are sparce, quality of breakfast at premium & luxury brands is declining. Hotel staff and management openly admit there's too many 'elites' in the system for it to be meaningful (seen the signs in lobbys with elite numbers checking in that night?), and it's eating into their margins. Something's gotta give.

Now, I have no inside knowledge on whether this will actually lead to a devaluation of Platinum benefits or a change in the requirements to qualify is coming (like adding a minimum co-spend to nights, for example), but given how easy it is to hit Platinum right now, I wouldn’t be surprised if Diamond eventually becomes the new gateway for benefits like lounge access and daily breakfast in APAC. If it's not removed from Platinum entirely, then perhaps it is brand limited, and we’ve already seen plays in this direction—like how Fairmont Gold lounge access is reserved for ALL Diamond. I could see Accor limiting lounge/breakfast perks at their luxury brands (Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, MGallery, Banyan Tree, etc.) to ALL Diamond, while Platinum could still access at the Premium & below tiers with Pullman, Swissôtel, Novotel, and others.

I’m currently Platinum, but aiming for Diamond this year. I'm in my first year of an ALL Signature subscription, so the spend threshold is not much different to earning Platinum through status points—which is what I’ve done over the past couple of years just with personal travel. I also like that if I hit Diamond and keep my Accor Plus membership going (mine resets each December), I could potentially hold Diamond through to Dec 2027 & then Platinum for another year after that, just from the effort I put in this year. Of course, YMMV!

Cheers,
Matt.

Have held Diamond since its inception and comfortably achieve it each year so I have no real comparisons of what it’s like since my last time as a Platinum.
What I will say is that in the first couple of years I didn’t notice a great deal of difference in Australia but better upgrades in Asia and the ME.
For me personally I do find that upgrades are far better in most places especially Asia and the ME and I nearly always get an upgrade of atleast 1-2 categories in Australia. Europe still is patchy and inconsistent and the uogrades and treatment generally improves the further East we go. Haven’t been to the US yet but have a number of stays in Accor properties but not expecting much TBH. In APAC and the ME we always get late checkouts and often very late checkouts and some will throw in other perks like free car parking or extra drink vouchers. What I have noticed over the last 2-3 years is the trend for properties to use PCV data more and find that as a regular at the better or higher end properties you will get looked after really well.
Lounges are becoming a bit of a zoo and it does seem too many status folk out there now and I do constantly give feedback to staff and Accor themselves who occasionally will send emails asking of stays so hopefully there is some sort of change implemented such as dedicated Diamond areas. I’ve also been told by two different Managers in the last 12 months that management can distinguish status tiers by how they were earnt and it’s at their discretion if they want to offer up all benefits or not but for instance in Doha I was told that a Diamond earnt the old way way will always get an upgrade over and above what a Diamond earnt through Signature will get which I did find interesting.
I do think eventually they will remove the Signature earn from Diamond tier qualification
