Accor - Platinum Benefits?

I used to stay at Nikko Saigon. Very nice hotel and service.
This time, tried out the Accor Platinum for the first time, stayed at Sofitel Saigon last month. I booked the superior room without breakfast. A week before arrival date, received an email from the hotel as below:

I just stayed at the Pullman in Jakarta (Central Park), and received a similar email.
check-in/check-out in the executive lounge.

the hotel manager & GM both personally introduced themselves to me on the first morning over breakfast... was really feeling the love!
