Accor Plus Membership Discussion

Yeah, have found it exceedingly simple to use
Brother’s kid turning 1 next Jan. booked my night at the airport a few weeks back. Saved myself a few hundred.

Don't understand this. With a bit of travel, and planning ahead (I know, not always possible), free night can be some of the best value there is.

For me, Fairmont Singapore next May corner suite SGD48. A$340 value. Paid for membership and then some.
I have been an Accor Plus member for 15 + years and rarely find value in the free membership night, but YMMV, then again I enjoy the lower brands such as Ibis and Mecure where my expectations are lower and thus rarely disappointed. Swissotel’s are about my limit these days, I haven’t had the pleasure of a Fairmont but in the case of Singapore did stay there when it was under the Westin branding and found the place a waste of time. Now the Crest suites which I have enjoyed numerous times would be good value if redeemable ;)

Not sure if its been posted by ALL Signature is 15% off the annual subscription with coupon BLACKFRIDAY2024

Does anyone know how long it takes for your first set of points to be credited?

I'm really confused, can I please ask for some help? I'm not used to hotel status stuff.

I'm a gold and plus. Am at 49 nights with another 2 booked this month. My 'accor plus gold' seems to be until 30/4/25, but for status nights it's showing as needing to be earned before 31/12/24.

So if I want to go for platinum, I need to book 9 more nights this month? (not gonna happen). Or until april? Or should I be renewing my plus membership early for 20 nights, or does that need to wait? Get a new membership?

Much harder than QF status to understand!

It's actually worse than booking 9 more nights this month. You need to complete the stays this month, not just book.

AU$1469 at today's exchange rate is such a steal.
I was meant to go for a 3 month resubscription to get the status points for one more SNU this year but at the price vs value ratio I just resubscribed for a year as well.

I've only just found about the All Signature deal and I'm reading about it now. I have a few questions that I'm struggling to find a clear answer to:

Does anyone know when the black Friday deal expires?
Does this require a new email / account totally or does it work with your existing one?
Can you earn accor points when redeeming accor points for a booking?

Also I'm assuming if I don't re-subcribe to All Signature next year, I still retain all my points/status nights.

EDIT: Trying to purchase now and I get an error when trying to use the promo code.

“This offer is only valid for new subscriptions made between November 4, 2024 and December 2, 2024 11:59 pm Brasilia time (UTC/GMT -03:00).”

Same account and email is fine - it stacks with your existing ALL account, and won’t impact if you also have Accor Plus, either
Can you earn accor points when redeeming accor points for a booking?
Kind of - you don’t earn on the points paid component, but you will earn status and rewards points for the eligible portion paid in cash (note that taxes are usually given priority for settlement against the cash component, as well, so it’s usually even less than you’d expect)
Also I'm assuming if I don't re-subcribe to All Signature next year, I still retain all my points/status nights.
Yes - nothing you’ve paid for is taken away, outside of the annual status points/nights reset, and rewards points expiry after 12 months.

Cheers,
Matt.

Help! I too am receiving an error. @Phoenix-1, did you manage to find a solution?

Just re-subscribed to ALL Signature (after cancelling my sub a few days back)
Hi sudoer, I did the same, just wondering did you get your first points credited yet? Mine didn't credit immediately and still waiting. Thanks

Not yet, they usually take a few days to start crediting IME

Is it possible that you are trying to pay using something other than a traditional credit card? I’ve read that prepaid type cards will not work [for the ALL Signature subscription]
I paid with AMEX and worked immediately
