I'd like to sign up to ALL Signature and now have the card available to do it. There's a sale happening at the moment; would it be best to time the sale so that it's the 1st in Brazil or just go for it now (I don't want it too close to the end of the month)?
I too hope that it won't affect my Amex Accor+.

Timing would depend on your specific needs. Do you need one or two lots of points this year? IF only one, just leave it until Dec given the offer runs till 8th Dec. If two, just do it now.

I feel like I should know this, but I can't recall... so here goes.

After a short hiatus following my last Accor stay, I'll be re-joining Accor Plus in the prized month of December. Just wanted to understand whether the end date for any future carried-over status aligns to your joining date, or it would be through to the end of that month joined? Effectively, does it make any difference joining on the 1st Dec or the end of Dec, in terms of the status extension benefit in any year which it may be needed? I have no need for the free 20 nights now, nor annually, so not bothered about timing of those if it helps with an answer.

Cheers,
Matt.

When is that supposed to post?
As per AccorPlus
The bonus of 20 Status Nights will be reflected in your account one (1) day after your effective joining Accor Plus membership subscription date. For renewing memberships, the 20 Status Nights will be reflected on the 1st day of your new membership year.

This is something that still confuses me, and now that I’ve reached Platinum I want to make sure I maximise my time at this level! “IF” there is another fast track in 2025 I should travel enough (personal and work) to make up remaining nights.

My A+ says I’m a member until end September 2025, which lines up to the 12 months since joining. But I’m unsure as to when my Platinum level expires under the ALL banner? Is there a way I can maximise my time under Platinum into 2026 (in the case I don’t reach it again in 2025)? Is it as simple as renewing my A+ membership?

This is answered elsewhere in this ALL forum, but in brief, if you renew A+ next year, you would retain Platinum status until at least September 2026, irrespective of the number of nights you have.

What if I achieved platinum last year, but won't retain this year, and A+ lapsed a few months ago. Will renewing now give me next year as platinum, or am I dreaming? Only expecting to hit 24 nights this year from regular stays.

If you achieved platinum in this calendar year, then
1) If you renew A+ next year, it will extend to Sept 2026
2) If you do not renew A+, it will go to the Dec 2025.

In theory then, in 2026 you don't have sufficient status points/nights to maintain platinum but renew A+, will you keep platinum again? Or does this magic status rollover only work once?

No, because in the T&Cs it says it is assessed based on the following criteria:

At the time of your Accor Plus membership renewal, the Status tier will be assessed based on the Eligible Status Nights or Status points earned during one of the two periods:

1. The current calendar year
2. The previous calendar year

The highest number of eligible nights spent or Status points earned during one of these two periods, will determine your new Status.

As you would not have achieved the Eligible Status Nights or Status Points for Platinum during the current or previous calendar year, you'd be extending the status which is the higher of the current or previous year. You can certainly use it to qualify biannually to keep the perpetual status train running.
