Seems Accor has a new(?) product in China. This is only for mainland china, HK and Macau apparently and the benefits don't extend past that.

Regular A+ will also have reduced benefits (like no free night availability) and potentially no 50% dining (to be confirmed).

Whats interesting is for now they're giving away 30 status nights upon sign-up which costs 2388RMB (~$510 AUD). Included are 2 stay nights, 1 free breakfast, some 50% off vouchers and 75% off vouchers.

There's also a version that costs 1388RMB (~$300) for 20 status nights and 1 free stay etc.

Promotion ends at the end of April and this is stackable ontop of normal A+ status nights (you could in theory pay for 50 status nights without having stayed anywhere).

Might be a bit troublesome to sort out if you don't want to touch WeChat as currently thats the only way to sign up that I know of, but if you travel to China or HK, this might be of use.

Accor Plus China (although I though they had moved to the ALL Plus branding, so it is ALL Plus China) split from the Accor Plus program last year. The communication at the time was:

From the 1st of October 2023, as an Accor Plus member, you will no longer be able to use your Stay Plus complimentary room night benefit at Accor hotels in Mainland China.

You will however continue to enjoy your exclusive Accor Plus member rate and Accor Plus dining benefits at participating hotels in Mainland China.

Your Stay Plus complimentary night benefit can still be enjoyed in Hong Kong China, Macau China and Taiwan China as well as 19 more countries across Asia Pacific.

Ah ok, i somehow missed that. Still this is an interesting way to get ALL plat for pretty cheap and without staying much if thats what you want to do.

Basically 50 stay nights for 2 A+ programs this year.

For the record, status nights came instantly into my ALL. I have a boarload of discount vouchers now of which I'm only planning on using some for now. Perhaps ill donate once i work out if i have any more trips to China over the next 12 months.

Interesting the direction this is going. While I get the A+ product has always been regional, it seems that region is being split up further. What I'm getting at is... Might we end up having to pay for multiple ALL Plus subscriptions in future, one for Australia, one for Asia, etc. with the benefit of pooling of stay plus / status nights being the saving grace?

From Accor's perspective it would fix the issue you have today where people buy A+ from Pacific/SEA countries for less than the local subscription, because benefits would only apply to the market it was purchased in.

Up to 50 nights now with both AU Accor plus and Chinese Accor +, there's also the stay 5 get 10 nights promo... hopefully it works out!

Has anyone with an Australian Accor plus membership tried this? Just to clarify, If so do you then get the starting 20 status nights when signing up in Australia then the additional status nights when joining the Chinese Accor plus membership essentially bringing your level to gold without staying a night and only 10 status nights of platinum ?

That is what I did. Got AccorPlus in Aus, then signed up to top tier on Chinese version Accor Plus, and got credited the extra nights, bringing me to 50 nights.

Do you mind if I ask how much it cost in Australian $$? Also are there any other perks that you can still use in Australia or Asia pacific (outside of china) such as suite upgrades, free nights etc.?

There is 2 tiers. All vouchers are for China only.

2388 RMB (~$500) which gave 30 status nights, 2 complimentary stays in china, bunch of 50%, 70% off vouchers and a whole host of other discount vouchers.

1388 RMB ( ~$290) 20 stay nights and 1 complimentary stay. Slightly less of the other vouchers too.

I'm actually not sure if the promotion is still available for the stay nights.

Hi Team, looking at signing up for All Plus China via WeChat. I am based in NZ so assuming the sign up process is pretty similar to AU.

For those that are interested - after scanning the QR code in WeChat, it's telling me the price is currently CNY2298 (30 nights credit) and CNY1298 (20 nights credit).

I managed to register a NZ Amex in WeChat in the app (it had been authorised CNY$0.35, assuming this will allow me to pay for the All Plus China subscription/ fees?

Are the All Plus China vouchers valid for 12 months from the date of sing up?

If one has enough status nights for Accor Silver/Gold/Platinum in July, Does the status expires on 31 Dec 2025?

Looking at signing up too, as I have a trip later this year to HK/Macau.

Do you access your member benefits/comp nights/vouchers through wechat or do they reflect in the ALL app once signed up?

WeChat.

You also need to search on the app for the complimentary nights.

Recently, I am holding the A+ from MY and already on Gold Tier , my membership is going to expired end of AUG. I am thinking should I renew my MY A+ (which I can enjoy 50% dinning discount in AU and rest of the APAC). My question is more about if I purchase the Chinese A+ via WeChat , I can already upgraded to Platinum Tier. But do I still able to keep A+ APAC since someone said the Chinese one is only for China/HK/Macau. Shall I not to renewal my MY A+ then. Any advise please :)

Well that was too easy, $282 later and I'm now the proud owner of a "AccorHotels Elite Card Bonjour Edition" which netted me 20 nights instantly. I had 42 nights already (20 from MY accor plus and 22 in stays so far this year).

The bonus points I'll earn as platinum plus the free breakfast and 2x suite upgrades easily cover the $282 above but the fact that I also now have a free night for China/HK/Macau to use is the cherry on top.

One other odd thing is I've now got "Imported reservation" showing on all existing bookings:

Can confirm this deal is still going on. I paid CNY 2398 and got the 30 status nights right away, pushing me to plat, along with all the vouchers.

While there wasn't free night availability for the nights I wanted, I was able to use the 50% and 25% off vouchers which already make up for the cost of the package.

Interestingly, there is an option to buy it again, so you could buy it repeatedly for the 2 night stays?

Yeh and all the extra vouchers.

There's upgrade vouchers, discount spa vouchers, dining discount vouchers on top of the free night, 50% and 30% vouchers.

Hi,

Can I ask, do Accor link your Accor Plus China membership with your other Accor Plus membership automatically? Or do you have to give Accor Customer Service a call or do something to link the 2 memberships (and hence the status nights)
